Dived in here recently for a bacon & egg roll. It was top notch and the bacon was crispy as ordered.
So I am back today to try the Full English, minus the mushrooms & sausage!
Spot on, a great breakfast, quality bit of bacon none of that thin limp stuff, crusty toast too. Add in hash browns, tomatos, beans..... a very happy & full belly.
I must add the staff in here are friendly too, a great place all round. -

Lovely staff, really nice people.
Food is good mostly but there are a few things to avoid
The sausages and the bacon that they use are the cheapest & nastiest available. The baked beans are the cheap watery type and not Heinz!
Salads are good as are the chicken escalopes and the pasta dishes.
They have fish and chips on a friday which is good.
They seem to think that everyone likes cheese and onion flavoured crisps as they do not stock any other kind.
They have the habit of keeping their cold drinks in the bar fridge which I think they should review as the dirty bases of the cans and bottles can contaminate the open containers of food on display.
In winter, they never put the heating on so everybody sits there freezing with their coats zipped up.
The napkins are so small that you need 4-5 but they only give one.
The tea is good but the coffee is just awful watery and bitter.
They don't do a large and small take away tea which is odd.
The take-away cups they use leak the hot drink out of the mouth-slot while you walk.
They always have door-step white bread for nice big sandwiches.
It may sound like I am very negative about this cafe, but it's not as it seems. I do really like it and hope they read this and 'fine-tune' a bit to get things right.
